I purchased this daily Bible because my previous attempts to read the Bible through in a year have been unsuccessful. For example, I found my self reading entire chapters in Leviticus without comprehension or even memory of what I just read.

This book has daily readings from the Old Testament, Psalms, Proverbs, and the New Testament in manageable portions. Passages requiring some further clarification are identified with ^ and a short clarification by Dr Stanley. There are also short articles of Life principles, What the Bible says about various topics, as well as life examples ( e.g., The deadliness of anger.)

This is a very manageable way to read the entire Bible in a year with comprehension and understanding what it says and what it means. I am able to remember what I read and meditate on it throughout the day.

I highly recommend this for someone like me who is not a Biblical scholar but wants to read and have an understanding of the entire Binle.

This is an awesome study tool to add to your everyday feeding of the word of God. Charles Stanley truly has a heart for our Lord and a strong desire to help others to develop and or grow in their relationship to Jesus Christ. Each day is just a few pages for those who have a busy life and Dr. Stanley presents the principals and key points of the application of the word from the old and new testament. You cannot beat the cost or way this has been arranged for your time with the word! Once you start in day one, you won't put it down!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

I am so pleased with this Bible. Dr. Stanley is such a fine, Biblical teacher; so thoughtful, insightful and informative. He has put so much of himself and his teachings into this Bible and it is set up to read through in a year. He helps the Word of God come alive and make it applicable to my walk with our Lord.

Our church is encouraging reading the whole Bible this year and being acquainted with Dr. Stanley's teaching depth and style, my wife and I thought this would be an excellent way to do it. So far we are really pleased with Life Principles approach and find it easy to stay on track with the daily readings.

This Bible makes it so easy to read the word everyday! The notes and explanations are very helpful! I dont know why I waited so long to get this!
