..but first, what i do love about this Bible is that the print size and quality of the print (ink is nice and dark . both the black and red inks) is great for eyes that are not so perfect. I love that is the personal size, not heavy or bulky. i have purchased one in 2005 and just like another reviewer, the binding started to come apart. daily use for reading and for Bible study, it didn't hold up well. i taped and i glued multiple times and it still continued to fall apart. My husband ordered me another (exact same Bible) in 2013. With light use, i could see this was going to suffer same fate. Now the solution, i found ACE Bookbinders (no personal interest in this, only a very pleased customer) so after contacting the company, i chose to send the 2013 one out for rebinding BEFORE it ended up in more than a dozen chunks like the 2005 one is in. I now have a solidly sewn genuine calfskin leather bound Bible that is going to survive daily use and for last generations. The Bible that is in chunks, in case you were wondering, is my treadmill Bible. The pieces do fit nicely in the treadmill's magazine sized holder for reading while walking. i chose "YES" to the recommend to a friend , i love the version, the size and the print but i would also tell her to save some money, purchase the imitation leather one instead if she plans on getting it rebound in genuine leather and sewn.
