The quality is not what I was hoping for. The cover looks and feels cheap. The bleed through is not too distracting for me, but it might be a problem for others. Except for the references, the font is large enough to read without my glasses. Overall I think this bible is a good value. I wish there was an option for a better quality version.

When I look for a Bible now days, I look for two things. First it needs it to have readable print. Font size isn't as important as the contrast between print and paper. So many Bibles today are hard to read because the print is not bold enough. The other problem is the thinness of the paper which causes bleed through of the print from the other side of the page and makes reading difficult. That's the other thing I look for. Thickness of the paper. With thin paper, writing and highlighting in the Bible is difficult. So for a Bible to be acceptable to me, it must have readable print and paper I can write and highlight on. Binding and cover is important but not as much as the other for me because I can get a Bible rebound and recovered with better leather. That's the case for this Bible. In terms of print and paper it's the best I've found in recent times. The print is the most readable I've found (Lockman does this well). The paper doesn't have the bleed through and you can write and highlight without worrying about it going through the paper. The size is perfect for me. For the size of the font the size of this Bible is very compact. The bonded leather cover and binding is acceptable but with daily use they won't last. That's why I'm having this one rebound soon. The only drawback for some may be the margin is narrow and will not allow much in the way of writing but this is an acceptable trade off for the handy size of the Bible.

While the inside is fine and the thumb index is very helpful, the cover of these bibles is blank. There is nothing on the front cover at all. The only writing is on the spine. There is no ribbon marker, either. It's rather cheap-looking and not worth the asking price.
