DannyKnoxville, TNAge: 45-54Gender: male5 Stars Out Of 5A must read for anyone claiming to be a ChristianJuly 10, 2012DannyKnoxville, TNAge: 45-54Gender: maleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5Other than the Bible, The Naked Gospel is probably the best book I have read concerning Christianity. It exposes many inaccurate interpretations that lead to unbiblical church traditions of men which in turn produce opposition to the abundant life that is in Christ Jesus. This book is a must read for anyone who claims the name of Christ.

SMETGermanyAge: 45-54Gender: female2 Stars Out Of 5Doesn't pass the Berean testJune 25, 2012SMETGermanyAge: 45-54Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 2I agree with Dr. Andrew Farley that many Christians struggle to understand that all their sins, past, present, future, were forgiven at the cross and we cannot add to this completed work. This is wonderful news, and he is right to share this with people.
One of the many areas I digress from his point of view is that everything before the crucifixion is Old Covenant, and does not apply to Christians, only to unbelievers. For example, this book says that the prayer Jesus taught his disciples to pray is an Old Covenant prayer. If so, then why does the prayer start with "Our Father"? We cannot call God our Father under the Old Covenant, only the New.
There are other areas where it seems that Dr. Farley is trying to hard to make the Bible fit his view, instead of allowing the Bible and the Holy Spirit to change his to match God's. I cannot recommend this book to anyone who does not follow the example of the Bereans and compare everything to the Scriptures to make sure it is true. -
MichaelAge: 55-65Gender: male5 Stars Out Of 5November 7, 2011MichaelAge: 55-65Gender: maleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5The Naked Gospel helped to answer all thoughts questions I've had about "Who am I", and "What does it mean to be in Christ".
I am now teaching a bible study class and using the Naked Gospel as our guide.
What a blessing it is to see other Christians who have found themselves bound by religion, "SET FREE" by the truth of the New Covenant. -
