Mystery of History is so interesting! I personally love the companion guide on CD-ROM. I only have to print what I need and if you write in a book you can't use it again for other students. Copying out of book for MOH 1 was SO tedious. The CD-ROMs made it much easier. I suppose it depends on your needs: if you have one or two students a printed companion book might make sense. For me, using it with 8 children, printing instead of copying is much, much better.

i love history and love seeing the dots connected. There are so many things goingg on at a given time that most history books wont tell you about because they only want to focus on one specific aspect. We are only in the 8th lesson tomorrow and i am thoroughly enjoying teaching this subject.

Both my girls have loved working through the Mystery of History serious. Book 4does not dissapoint!
