I liked that and found it enriching.
I found it annoying, however, how he persistently wants to use the fact that Hebrew letters have numeric value to to try and prove ideas. Example on page 31: "the tree" (HaEitz) has the numeric value of 165. So does "curse" (kelalah) and"deliver him" (pedaeihu). "Yeshua died on the tree (165) to free us from the curse (165) ... could be delivered (165)... " This particular sentence uses 6 phrases with the value of 165. I personally see little value in adding up the numeric value of words

Dawn5 Stars Out Of 5Bridges the Gap BeautifullyMarch 22, 2021DawnI found this book enlightening. I have read and re-read my Bible many times, but this book helped bridge the gap with additional information I just never had. Using original Hebrew, numeric values, and Jewish tradition, in combination with scripture, Rabbi Sobbel opened my eyes to the deeper understanding as Moses as the first Messiah. Beautifully knitting together the Old and New Testaments, we are able to see more clearly the work of Christ as it relates to the Old Testament and the fulfillment of God's promise. As a Christian, I tend to lean heavily into the gospel while the Old Testament has been more difficult to understand. This book has clarified much of that mystery for me. Rabbi Sobbel has done a wonderful job educating his reader and unraveling some of the mysteries. I have recommended this book to my Sunday School group.
