Renee K5 Stars Out Of 5Yeshua the MessiahJuly 27, 2021Renee KQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5For the last few weeks I have been reading Mysteries of the Messiah by Rabbi Jason Sobel. I always get excited to see others wanting to learn about the Torah and how it connects to the New Testament.
I have been able to live out my faith in Messiah Yeshua has truly been fulfilling. There is something special celebrating the Feast Days and reading Hebrew as my Master did. My husband and I found our Jewish Messiah in the early 90s and began to incorporate the Messianic lifestyle into our faith!
Rabbi Sobel has written an interesting resource that weaves together the Old and New Testament beautifully. He shares with you the importance of the Hebrew and even the Greek language interpreting the Word. It is more than the language but the numeric value of these two languages. I found this interesting and am always fascinated when others connect the dots for me! I do not see it in the Word until someone ties it together for me.
Just a few areas that are talked about: He explains that the Bible was written in a Jewish context and talks about some of the oral traditions. He also starts to link together from the Hebrew Bible how Yeshua is the Messiah and fulfilled the prophecies in the Old Testament with his birth, life, death, and His resurrection. He shows through scripture that Yeshua has fulfilled Passover, First Fruits, and Pentecost. Another way he connects it all together is Adam and Eve, the serpent, Abraham, Moses, Ruth, Boaz, David, and Yeshua.
Other resources are available at the back of the book for you to learn more.
An interesting read to discover the Mysteries of the Messiah.
I received a complementary of this product in exchange for my honest review.

ConnieKentuckyAge: Over 65Gender: Female5 Stars Out Of 5Intriguing & EnlighteningJuly 21, 2021ConnieKentuckyAge: Over 65Gender: FemaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5This review was written for Mysteries of the Messiah: Unveiling Divine Connections from Genesis to Today.Let me begin by saying that this isn't a book to quickly read and set aside; instead, it should be read slowly, with a pen and paper nearby. Mysteries of the Messiah offers a unique look at the connection of Jesus to both the Old and New Testaments, and it is full of intriguing information that I've never seen before. The author is Rabbi Jason Sobel, and he assures readers that "Uncovering the mysteries of the Messiah, the divine connection God has woven throughout Scripture, is a lifetime adventure that will never disappoint." Thankfully, Rabbi Sobel offers assistance for our journey, as he uses the Hebrew and Greek alphabet, and the numbers associated with the letters, to shine a light on this 'divine connection'.
Mysteries of the Messiah: Unveiling Divine Connections from Genesis to Today is a fascinating resource that is both enlightening and inspiring. I recommend it to all who want to learn more about the presence of Jesus in both the Old and New Testaments, and deepen their personal relationship with Him!
I received a complimentary copy of this book from the publisher via I Read with Audra. There was no obligation for a positive review, and I am voluntarily sharing my thoughts.

MaureenTSyracuse NYGender: female5 Stars Out Of 5EnlighteningJuly 13, 2021MaureenTSyracuse NYGender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5This review was written for Mysteries of the Messiah: Unveiling Divine Connections from Genesis to Today.Having recently completed an in-depth study of Genesis with my BSF group, I found this book fascinating and eye opening, I've also heard my pastor speak of studying Greek and Hebrew and reading the bible in the original language. This book gave me a greater understanding of using the language Jesus was speaking, and his disciples, and applying it to scripture.
The mysteries, and as Rabbi Sobel reveals some of them that are hidden in plain sight: Hebrew word for Father, has a Numerical Number of 3, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Since a tree caused the Fall, the son of God had to die on a tree.
There are so many words of wisdom here, I will be reading this one more than once!
I received this book through Read With Audra, and was not required to give a positive review. -
