This book is for my 3 boys which are 8,6,and 4. It's a great way to catch kids attention to learn their body parts, functions of organs while being hand on and not drawn out.

I bought (for each kid) 2 big white shiny poster papers 2for $1 at the dollar tree and taped them together so we could trace my kids bodies on it, THAT WAS SO MUCH FUN! we then read one part at a time, made copies, colored and glued. because the 2 posters are taped in the middle, when we are done its easy to fold and put aside for next time.

This is an absolute winner and I highly recommend it for others who want a fun way to get their kids to learn about the human body.

Thank you CBD for carrying it and adding it to the homeschool sale booklet!

i think this is a great tool for learning about the human body. the only thing id recommend as a change is put the cutouts on their own page so the info doesnt get cut up.

My Kindergartner and 3 1/2 year old are just finishing up this book. We have enjoyed it! I copy the coloring pages and they both color the body part(s) as I read the written description and then we add to their "body." It is informative and easy to follow for young attention spans. We've had great discussions about how our bodies work and how all the parts work together. Potty training went to a whole new level when discussing the bladder and intestines! There isn't any credit given to our Creator, but it's easy to add that in as part of the discussion.

    great book
My twins are 5 1/2, and they were so proud to have me trace their bodies so we could get the body parts together for this book's project. We double photocopied the body parts, (so we did not have to cut up the book), and they are enjoying coloring each body part, then hearing me read about it, and of course proudly pasting it on their own body shape. This is a fun and easy way to learn more about the body.

My 4th grader found the writing style to be overly repetitive.
