Tell us a little about yourself. Married to my Beautiful wife Crystal. We have two daughters Kira and Cassidy. Five dogs and seven cats who are all rescues. I am the Bi-Vocational Minister for Banklick Christian Church in Ft Mitchell, KY. Work during the week helping others who are involved with ministry. I enjoy exercising, working in the yard, spending time doing things with my family and history.
What was your motivation behind this project? My motivation behind this project was God calling me to put to paper what can be a serious issue for the church. Helping people as they journey on their faith walk. Helping them to grow spiritually, helping them to understand the importance of growing their faith and the importance of helping others in their faith journey.
What do you hope folks will gain from this project? I hope that people will see that deepening their faith is something that must be done intentionally and also done everyday.
How were you personally impacted by working on this project? I was personally impacted and realized when I had finished writing that God wanted me to do this to help strengthen my faith and to tie together everything He has been teaching me up to this point.
Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists? My influences Have been Bob Russell, retired senior minister of Southeast Christian Church. Dr. Tracey Marx President of Louisville Bible College. The person who has had the most influence on me is my wife Crystal who daily shows me what it means to be a committed follower of Christ. Not by her words, but by her love, actions, support and example of dedicating the first part of every day to the Lord.
Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know: I pray that if one person can learn from what is in the book then God receives the glory and not me.
