With practical information and personal stories, Carl Medearis shows readers how they can build life-changing bridges between the world's two largest religions--one person at a time, whether in the US or elsewhere.
Carl Medearis has extensive experience working and living with Muslims. A highly sought-after Islamic expert, he works with international government and business leaders and speaks at conferences and universities to 40,000 people annually. After 12 years of living in Beirut, Lebanon, Carl and his family now make their home in Colorado Springs.

Bev SesinkEdmontonAge: 55-65Gender: Male5 Stars Out Of 5Well Worth The Read!November 27, 2013Bev SesinkEdmontonAge: 55-65Gender: MaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5Excellent book! I have read and reread it and I rarely ever read a book twice! His focus on loving our "enemy" is so much needed in our world where fear, antagonism and hatred dominate our attitudes and that even among followers of Jesus! This resource has profoundly impacted me causing me to seriously rethink my attitude and actions toward not only Muslims but people of other or no faith. I cannot enough highly recommend this book to those who want to better understand Islam, Muslims, and what Jesus has to say to us as his followers.
GillTexasAge: Over 65Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5Special for understanding the Muslim culture.October 28, 2011GillTexasAge: Over 65Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5It is a very good book for Christians to understand the Muslim religion. I am a board member of an organization that builds and operates hospitals in Africa. It helps us to understand and gives good ideas to build relationships in order to reach them for Christ.
TcottaMesa, AZAge: 25-34Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5Amazing Resourc for talking to Muslims about JesusOctober 18, 2011TcottaMesa, AZAge: 25-34Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 4Meets Expectations: 5This is an amazing book from a well informed author. Carl infuses stories that show how devout, but lost the Muslim followers are. Being a "Christian" is contrasted with actually being a follower of Jesus. This applies to my own faith as well as taking it to others.
Robert Muir5 Stars Out Of 5November 30, 2009Robert MuirIncredible. I have always thought that the best way to reach Muslims is to focus on our common ground rather than on our differences. I especially enjoyed the individual stories on how Muslims enjoy talking about Jesus. True believers in Jesus need to focus on "loving our neighbor" and this book provides great examples of how to do just that. Be a Light!!
