In today's world it is necessary to know about other religions and their foundational beliefs - knowing is the only answer to being able to have a loving and meaningful conversation with family and friends, other Christians, and of course Muslims. Having facts is critical to a conversation that is needed to eliminate mis-conceptions. This book by Hank Hanegraaff is the single best book on the Muslim religion I have purchased in the last 15 years. The cost at CBD is fantastic and I have ordered multiple copies to be able to share them. Thank you and May God Bless you!

I'm always learning about the Muslim faith because I'm a Christian with a heart for the Arab people especially Islamic Arabs.. I know them as both friend and foe. I've lived in their lands. My friends, I consider dear, well intended, greatly influenced by family and culture, with a heart for God.

When I've challenged them with factual statements about current events that relate to their faith, their typical response is that I don't understand Islam.

This book compares and contrasts the foundational elements of Christianity with those of Islam. It looks back to Islam's founder and foundations. It looks forward to expectations of future events by believers in both camps. It provides perspective on the rationale for current actions taken in the name of their God.

Light reading it's not. Research intensive, this book is heavily quoted with verifiable truths, no pontification here. Use it as a resource and refer to it often. Notably, one of its strengths is that it employs the use of acronyms to remember key facts--very useful in impromptu discussions.

Hope resides in this reader's reliance that people want to belief the truth. Some have the courage to ask the question regardless of the answer. Family, culture, and fear can hinder a response, but truth will win out eventually. Pride, a great deterrent, is overcome through prayer. Prayer and reliance on a loving God, a God that can change hearts is my comfort and encouragement. This book greatly enables one's capability relate to those of the Islamic faith, and to share, from the heart, real truths: there's a God who loves all that will come to Him, a God who can atone for all their sins, and a God who provides a real relationship that begins now--not just when one leaves this world as we know it.

Bold and refreshing are the best words to describe Hank's new book. Bold, because he fearlessly speaks the hard truth about Islamic reality, and refreshing because it contests the politically correct rhetoric echoed in today's media.

This books is a must read for those who wish to education themselves on Islam from a Christian perspective. With eloquence, Hank lays out factual and verifiable information about Islam, walks us through the life of the prophet Muhammad, delineates the faulty ethics within the Quran and the horrors of Sharia. It's a real eye-opening, and sometimes even comic, read. Hank's arguments are compelling and cannot be dismissed.

As Christians, it is essential to equip and educate ourselves, so we may give good reason to defend our viewpoint and beliefs. I believe this book is essential to any Christian's arsenal. We cannot be guilty of ignorance with respect to Islam, and with this book we have no excuse.

This book was thought-provoking. As a life-long Christian, I have reasoned that the three major monotheistic world religions shared the same deity. After all, the God of the Jews and the God of Christians is the same being, and Muslims share much of the same early history, splitting from the path of the Jews and Christians when Abraham sent Hagar and Ishmael away. So since we share the same God, the differences are in our methods of worship, the text that we consider canon, and the ideas that underscore how mankind is to be reunited eternally with our Creator.

After reading this book, I see that my view was both simplistic and incorrect. While it is true that the three belief systems share a root, Islam appears to be both built on Judaism and Christianity and considered to be the culmination of them. Islam preaches that any other belief is wrong and that everyone should be forced to believe only Islam or face death - earthly, physical death. This book discusses the major differences between Christianity and Islam, and left me wondering how Islam gained such a foothold in the world if not for the violent, bloody wars that forced those subjugated by Muslim armies to live according to Islam.

This book is written from a Christian perspective, by a man whose interpretation of the Bible I believe to be sound, but he references the Quran many times to illuminate and underscore his points.

To say I enjoyed this book is not appropriate. I come away from the text in awe of the fact that 1.7 billion people believe what the Quran says given that it preaches atrocious ideas and attacks Judaism and Christianity in order to make Islam seem superior.

If you are curious about the world's fastest-growing religion, this book is a must-read.

I found Muslim to be a very well-written and very well-researched book. It is a wealth of information and knowledge about the beliefs of Islam, its effects on modern Western culture, and the contrast between Islam and Christianity.

While discussions regarding Islam, Christianity, and religion are not always comfortable topics to talk about, Hank Hanegraaff has written a book that will help readers to intelligently and thoroughly discuss these subjects. Muslim is very well-researched with thorough documentation. Facts are presented accurately and within context.

I very highly recommend Muslim as a valuable and very comprehensive resource for anyone who wants to know the truth about Islam.
