KavRCanadaGender: female5 Stars Out Of 5A Quirky Small-Town MysteryJuly 27, 2017KavRCanadaGender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5Quirky small-town mysteries are so much fun to read and this is one of the best. Gabhart takes us back to Hidden Springs where the idyllic community is rocked by another murder.
This town has a life of its own with enough eccentric characters to set me into a perpetual fit of giggles. And then there are the shady ones that might just be up to no good...given the rising body count and all. Love the challenge of the mystery combined with some unexpected zany and a wee bit of angsty romance.
Michael and Alexandria are back grappling over how to mesh their impossibly diverse lives. Their romance is the only continuous aspect of the series. It's a secondary thread and you don't need to have read the other books to catch up with these two and how they feel about each other.
A cozy mystery that ticks all the boxes -- nefarious criminals hidden among the everyday lives of small-town America, a faith-filled, honor bound deputy hero and enough armchair sleuthing opportunities to keep me happily plotting right to the very end.
sh2rose5 Stars Out Of 5Another Thriller from Gabhart!July 8, 2017sh2roseQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5Deputy Sheriff Michael Keanes simple job in his little town changes to high stress when a realtor, engaged in selling a home accidentally falls down the houses staircase. She dies from her injury. No one considers this incident a murder but Michael senses something awry. As one of the oldest homes in town, this three story mansion carries a history of falls. The citizens maintain closed mouths not assisting Michael at all. Is there something sinister occurring in his domain?
I thoroughly enjoyed this third novel in the Hidden Springs Mystery series. This can be read as a stand alone but the fascinating people living in Hidden Springs will grow on you in each book. A. H. Gabhart has written another hit! Hopefully, another in the series is coming to resolve issues left open!!
NetGalley and Revell provided a copy of this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

CozyWriter'sDen4 Stars Out Of 5Quirky and memorable!June 10, 2017CozyWriter'sDenQuality: 4Value: 4Meets Expectations: 4Hidden Springs reminds me of my hometown - a community so tight that you can't even skip a class in high-school without getting "caught" at least a half-dozen times before you reached the end of the road, and guaranteed your mother would know about it before you even got home. Hidden Springs is a town where everyone knows everyone and investigating murders can get challenging when everyone is someone's brother, sister, or great aunt. Filled with delightful small town quirkiness, this newest installment in "A Hidden Springs Mystery" series is sure to delight its readers.
Deputy sheriff Michael Keane is called in to yet another Hidden Spring's death. Fortunately, this one appears to be a tragic but innocent mistake. At least, that is what he'd like to think... but then a second body shows up and he is no longer content to close the book on the case. With romance on the brain, Michael fights to keep safe the two things he values most in his life: his lifelong friend Alexandria and his precious town of Hidden Springs. In the end though, is he going to have to choose one over the other?
This is yet another delightful addition to a fun, lighthearted series filled with memorable characters. I would certainly recommend all the books in this series.
Thank-you to Graf Martin Communications and to Baker Publishing House for a complimentary copy of this book.
