Fast, furious, and flirty, Lynette Eason's relentless suspense barely gives her readers time to catch their breath in this third thrilling installment of the Elite Guardians series.
Rosa5 Stars Out Of 5A must read!March 27, 2017RosaQuality: 0Value: 0Meets Expectations: 0This book is the best one of this series yet! It drew me into the story from page one. It was action packed, full of excitement the whole way through. I loved the twists and turns throughout the story. The characters are very realistic and easy to relate to.
It was bittersweet to get to the ending-I really needed them to be safe from the villain (which I had no idea on who it would be), but I did not want to get to the end of the book!
If you like Christian Suspense stories, this is a must read!!

Suspense is Lynette Easons calling. Her writing always has suspense and action and believable characters peopling the novels. The books in the Elite Guardians series are no exceptions. If you follow my blog, PositiveGrace.com, youll be up-to-date on this series and the first two books, Always Watching and Without Warning. Moving Target is just as exhilarating and exciting as the others.
Maddy McKay and Quinn Holcombe have a history. Hes FBI and shes ex-FBI. They both have been near deathher from a slashed throat and him from being smashed in a car by a backhoe. Shes stuck by him through his rehab; hes drawn to her and doesnt know what to do about the situation. Maddys assignment is to get Quinn to his birthday party, but he ticks her off so badly she stalks out of the restaurant where theyre having dinner. After brief, but not brief enough, consideration, Quinn follows and drives to Maddys home.
At the party, the crew is worried. Neither Maddy nor Quinn have shown up and theyre not answering their phones or texts. They begin a search for the pair. In the meantime, Maddy and Quinn are in a fight for their lives as theyre hunted, literally, by the Chosen One.
You will not be able to put this book down. Do NOT start reading in the evening unless you want to stay up all night. Eason has included everything I want in a book: engaging characters, fascinating plot, twists and turns, a hint of romance. She gets her protagonists into situations youre sure they cant escape, but they pull out resources they didnt know they had and manage to do soonly to be put right back in another perilous spot. Five stars!
Lynette Eason has four series to her credit: Women of Justice, Deadly Reunions, Hidden Identity, and Elite Guardians. You will want to read all of them. She is the winner of two American Christian Fiction Writer Carol Awards, the Selah Award, a Golden Scroll Award and others. She lives in South Carolina where she plots more murder and mayhem
Revell, a division of Baker Books, gave me a copy of Moving Target, but I was in no way obligated to write a favorable review.
Angela SuzanneAge: 18-24Gender: female4 Stars Out Of 5Excellent blend of romance and suspenseMarch 19, 2017Angela SuzanneAge: 18-24Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I was happy to finally get to see Quinn and Maddy's story after reading about them in the first and second book in this series. It was suspenseful from the first chapter and I was always wondered what would happen next. It reminded me a little of the short story The Dangerous Game we had to read in school where the person was hunting humans. I had an inkling for who the bad guy was, but I wasn't able to figure out exactly who it was until the end. I enjoyed trying to figure out who was the one behind it and how there were hints to lead you in a certain direction but never gave away who it was until the end. Eason wrote another mesmerizing suspenseful romance with an excellent blend of the two.

Michelle5 Stars Out Of 5Action Packed Story of Revenge, Love, and ConnectionMarch 10, 2017MichelleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5Moving Target by Lynette Eason tells the story of Former FBI agent Maddy and Police Detective Quinn who are on the hunt to find a serial killer and become his prey in the process. They become caught in this killers deadly web and frequently struggle to get out of his grasp. At times, scenes in this book are reminiscent of the Hunger Games and at other times, the book dives deep into personal issues of tragedy and connection. I highly recommend this book! I received a digital copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.
