This review was written for Moving Mountains - eBook .
Our small group has been using this book. The ideas are good, but the writing style was hard to understand at times. We struggled with some of the concepts for quite a well before figuring out what he meant. It has definitely improved our prayer life however and is worth the read.

I read a magazine review prior to purchasing the book that was less than positive, so my expectations weren't high. I was very pleasantly surprised. I have read a lot of books about prayer and this has some fresh insights and a perspective that I haven't read elsewhere. I appreciated John's down to earth writing style and the passion he has for the Lord and for prayer that are clearly evident throughout the book.

The first half was rather tedious with a lot of fill - from movies, books, etc. The author appeared to me to be rambling off subject. Second half was much more to the point. Interesting. But, not based on facts, rather educated opinion. Left me scratching my head versus reassured.
