This work does not address some issues of interest to me as well as the updated "Vine's" does. Also, the updated "Vine's" has coverage of the NASB, amng other things, where this seems to be exclusively focused on the 1984 NIV. While, in my view, the 1984 is better than the 2011, it is good to not be entirely dependent on any one translation, especially where there is the "dynamic equivalency" philosophy of even the 84 NIV. (Of coure, to some extent any translation from one language to another must employ some of the "D.E." approach, but some things are lost when this is employed too freely, usually by translators or "smoothers" of the translation who don't understand what it is they're obscuring.
