Morning and Evening by Charles Spurgeon is a classic devotional that has blessed saints for 100s of years.

I remember listening to it being read on Sermon Audio every morning before I started my day back in my college days. I was so excited to revisit it again this year.

There are 732 readings, one for morning and evening. Each reading begins with a verse of scripture then a message of encouragement.

This is a great resource to use in your own personal devotional time or family worship routine. My husband and I would go through this individually then discuss later in the day. You could do the same with your spouse or a friend.

Several years ago our Church purchased this book as a gift for each family. I have given it as a gift to several people over the years and ALL have been thankful and reaped much from his writing about The Word of God. It is truly one of my favorites. The price of the hardback edition is fantastic.

Great composition and clarity. He really had a grasp of the English language and the writing is so poetic!! The cover was so beautiful and the streams of wheat just emphasized the Title. And IT BLESSES MY SOUL AND SPIRIT WHEN I READ. This is one of the greats of literature!! Jo Nelson
