I purchased two copies of this DVD based on the description and reviews. Intending to send one to my family in Colorado (which I did not). I was extremely disappointed in this movie (I usually love the movies I have purchased from CBD). It struck me as a (justification for a) travel boondoggle for the featured actor. I had hoped for an insightful educted spiritual perspective of historic locations and history -- which it is not.

This is a very informative documentary. I have a deeper respect for and better appreciation of the pilgrims after watching this. I wish all schools show this as part of the US history class to understand what the US founding fathers' world view was. Kind of hard to watch though due to the constant shifting of scenes. I wish there are more documentaries like this and more that are even more visually engaging to kids and adults alike.
