Author/Artist Review

Tell us a little about yourself.  I've enjoyed writing children's stories since my childhood. The Fairhaven Forest series is a dream come true for me.

What was your motivation behind this project?  Fairhaven Forest (The Adventure Begins, Monster and Sugar Baby) is based on the real life adventures of our two cats, Fuzz and Spatz.

What do you hope folks will gain from this project?  While the books are not Christian in their message, each book does teach a moral lesson with questions at the end to help teach the point. Monster teaches children not to be afraid or let their imaginations run away with them.

How were you personally impacted by working on this project?  It brought me great joy!

Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists?  My biggest influence and source of inspiration is my savior Jesus Christ. My favorite authors are Dee Henderson and Terri Blackstock.

Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know:  I have 24 free stories about Fuzz & Spatz online that you can find by googling Fairhaven Forest and my name. You can also find my website the same way. On the website you can reaad about my Fairhaven Forest school program.
