When I bought this book I really wanted to like it but after I began reading it I couldn't stand it. For a brand new Christian it might be okay but I found that her tips were not much different than what you can find by doing an internet search on bible study tips. The majority of the text is about personal stories of the author, most not reinvent, and reading it reminded me of talking to my 14 year old when she's had a little too much sugar and is excited. Basically, I thought there wasn't much coherent thought process and the writing tended to jump all over the place making it very distracting to read.
I LOVE this book! Hilarious stories coupled with awesome strategies for studying the Bible made it an entertaining and informative read. I'm in my 30s and have been a Christian my entire life. Finally I am engaged in personal Bible study that is deepening my relationship with God and my awareness of the Holy Spirit's power through the reading of the Word. I encourage women of all ages to read this book - you won't regret it!
