    Best Study Bible Ever!

Two years ago I was introduced to the FireBible by a friend. Since then I have purchased two for me (MEV & NIV), one for my wife; and 60 to be given out as gifts (30 for missionary delivery, 30 for gifts to church members). This is the most important advancement in personal study Bibles in my 70-years of life (to me anyways).

The study helps, the commentaries, the special reports are the best. I highly recommend this to everyone! The best translation to date is the Modern English Version for any Bible for it brings the KJV beauty to modern language use.

I bought this bible when it first came out in 2015. I have loved it so much I have bought one for each of my adult children. I love the Hebrew words located under the text. My vehicle was recently stolen and my bible was in it. This is a replacement for that. The notes and study articles are so nice. They cover many of the questions that others seem to have. Each article gives scripture references so that the reader knows it is biblically based. This is a great study bible whether you are an older Christian and have been in the word for many years or a young Christian and just beginning your walk. Until the MEV came out I haven't owned any bible except KJV, I bought this because when I would read verses others who do not use KJV would have puzzled looks. I decide to help others grow I wanted a bible that all could understand. After only a little time it has become my favorite bible. Although, I still spend time in my KJV, nothing can replace my MEV. I hope that if you purchase this bible you will enjoy it as much as I have and will continue to for many years to come.

I have fallen in love with this Bible, MEV is easy enough for my 8 year old to read with me and strong enough for her to feel the full strength of the word. I also love a the awesome Nuggets in the foot notes and topics. This has been my most loved bible I own.

I absolutely LOVE the red letter ink color of the MEV after owning so many Bibles with PALE red ink. Granted, the red ink is bright but there's no missing it!! The translation is close to King James of course and looking over the broad group of translators and contributors and academic sources I was pleased to see such a representation quite frankly. One issue I had was it appears some of the contribution was from non-Protestant sources. Small issue in these days for some but knowing the history of the subject it's always good to be on your guard. The notes are (free-will, you can lose salvation) Arminian which are very good but go far for me in some areas as I am a mild semi-Calvinist believing God is stronger than our will and will ultimately get His will done. Anyway, having said that this is still a bargain and has enough information to help anyone in their Christian life.
