Author Info

For almost 30 years Linda and her husband, John, have been members of Brown's Chapel Baptist Church in Paragould, Arkansas. They raised two beautiful daughters in that church from the time they were babies and watched each of them grow into fine Christian young women who would make their mark on the world.

Erica's life lives on through the pages of this book and the memories of those who love her, while she physically lives today in the glory of heaven.

Elizabeth, Miss Teen Northeast Arkansas 2006, now married, has owned and operated a successful Christian-based dance studio since 2012, bringing glory to God through dances at regional and national levels as well as local recitals. Today, Linda works alongside her by volunteering her time and energy to office duties.

Before her children were born Linda worked as a bookkeeper/secretary for several years, among other jobs. When her first child, Erica, was born she happily devoted her time to being a stay at home mom. After Erica's accident Linda wrote "So Young, So Loved, So Missed" and started a grief support group she named "Comforting Hearts" for those who had lost a child. She also organized a local "Mom's Day of Prayer" in her community in 2006 that spanned six years.

Linda hopes that by reading her book you will experience the joy and peace that she did by looking to your Heavenly Father. As you will read in her story, He is very near the brokenhearted. He will bless you beyond all measure as you trust in Him.

I enjoyed reading this book. I was uplifted by how the author wrote of her great faith in the face of what I can only image to be the worst tragedy any parent could face. She wrote of how she was comforted by God and helped through this most difficult time. I would recommend this book to anyone who is facing the loss of a child or anyone who just needs to be encouraged by how our Lord will love and comfort His children in times of need.

I absolutely loved this book!!! I felt as if I had known this little girl forever, yet I will only get to meet her in Heaven. I really connect with this story because I just lost my oldest son, Chris, on December 30, 2007 in a work related accident at KinderMorgan. The book was so genuine, and was not sugarcoated at all. It shows how God can get us through anything and the book lifted me up in my most difficult time of despair. I will read the book over and over because when I am having a hard time, I will know that I am not alone in this and God will pull me through it. I had borrowed the book from a friend who had lost her son 6 years ago and now I can't wait to receive my own copy. Yes, I have ordered myself a copy and I would recommend this book to anyone out there who has lost a child. Great Job on your book, Mrs. Linda Davis, and I hope God continues to Bless you. You are in my prayers and I would like to thank you for writing such an inspirational book that will help many in their time of sorrow.

This story was somewhat disappointing to me because there were only sketchy details and the story wasn't told in chronological order. I read the story, then re-read the story to get the "gist" of it. I read biographies all the time, but couldn't relate to the sketchy content well.

This is such a comforting book for anyone who has lost someone they love, adult, teenager, it doesn't matter. The love of a mother for her daughter unfolds on every page, but the best part is watching and learning how that mother goes on in her day to day life knowing one day she will see her precious daughter again.
