This is a pretty big program and I was worried our Kid's Choir wouldn't be able to pull it off (we have about 35 kids in our choir). However, it came together beautifully and the audience said it was the best Christmas program they had ever watched. The kids loved the songs, especially the opening and closing numbers. The program can be flexible if you need to change it to suit the specific make-up of your choir. We ended up dividing up one of the main speaking roles into two roles. There are several solo singing parts which allows everyone who wanted a "special" part to have their moment to shine. The song "Go Light Your World" is especially lovely. We had some of our older girls sing it and added a dancer with a candle. Costumes are simple, which makes things so much easier. We used our preschoolers to form the nativity at the end of the program and it was adorable! I highly recommend this musical for it's message, music, and ease of production.

This is a wonderful musical. I've searched through quite a few musicals and this one stands out as being one of the better written - both the music and the drama. I would recomend this. I did however find one spot where I had to change a line to fit with our church's doctrine but it was not a big deal.
