This book made a huge impact on my life. I bought this copy to give to my brother in hopes he will come to the Lord. I told him of Don's experiences and he seemed interested, so I'm praying he'll read it and God will grab his heart.

Don Piper tells the story, "it's been twenty-five years since my fatal accident". When he was in that collision with the semi-truck that everyone else walked away unhurt from, for him that accident was fatal. He died. That alone is an experience. He went to Heaven. I was so excited when I saw the tenth-anniversary edition of 90 Minutes in Heaven available on NetGalley. For years, Ive been told to read this book. Many have said how impactful​ and inspiring it is.

Yet, each time I picked it up I was bored to tears until I realized I was just reading the preface, update, and acknowledgements. Duh! I skipped through that and began to read the most heart-rending book Ive ever accessed.

Each page brought tears to my eyes and made my heart feel full. The awesomeness of Don Pipers experience reminded me of how amazing it is to live with the expectation that every moment is a gift from God. Every experience, good and bad, will be used by Him for the benefit of someone. Plus, so many of his experiences are those we deal with every day, its like being scolded by God.

Im going to have to get behind the crowds on this one and say that not only is 90 Minutes in Heaven a must-read​, but its a must buy youre going to want to share!

I think, now and again, God encourages His people with books like this one with glimpses of heaven. Even though we go through tough times here, God can touch so many other lives with our story.
