I have found Jim Henry's book to be useful on more than one occasion as an immediate source of inspiration and a good place to steal an idea or two outright. Each of the twenty-three messages is founded upon a biblical reading and for the most part crafted to serve in a unique set of circumstances. This book is a good investment not only as a quick reference in those desperate moments when you need to preach TONIGHT, but also as casual reading for those of us who are called upon to assist families in bereavement. This little book is well worth the modest price.
