Author Bio

Dr. Heather Jordon Clark earned her PhD in clinical psychology from Georgia State University. Her internship and postdoctoral residency were completed at the Medical College of Georgia / Augusta Veterans Administration Consortium and the Miami Veterans Administration Healthcare System, respectively. In her internship and residency programs, Dr. Clark’s training was primarily focused on behavioral medicine and chronic pain management.

In addition to her private practice work, Dr. Clark is an adjunct professor at Liberty University and Knox Theological Seminary. She also serves people through public speaking in both medical and Christian arenas and serves in women’s ministry at her church.

She is a member of the American Psychological Association, the Broward Chapter of the Florida Psychological Association, and the American Association of Christian Counselors.
