Sometimes, I program my stereo system to play Angus Dei on repeat for hours on end. The words in my head going around and around on that loop help me have a very holy day. I just can't get enough of this wonderfully hauntingly beautiful album.

John De Villiers5 Stars Out Of 5In Freedom's footstepsJanuary 1, 2013John De VilliersQuality: 4Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I've got to say, while I find Michael W. Smith's lyrical works to be rather shallow in spiritual content, his instrumental stuff is well done. Since I heard and bought his Freedom CD, I've been looking forward to the possibility of another instrumental CD. Thankfully, my anticipation has not been in vain. Well done, Michael!

I listen to it all the time.June 8, 2012JoanneGeorgetown, KYAge: Over 65Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5Michael W. Smith and David Hamilton have outdone themselves. This CD is sooo beautiful! I can hardly stop listening to it. Even my grandchildren (ages 8 & 9) love it. Their favorite is "Glory Song"; I love it too, but have many favorites on the CD. A little preview of heaven!
MarieNorth Augusta, SCAge: 35-44Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5Some of Michael's best workFebruary 8, 2012MarieNorth Augusta, SCAge: 35-44Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I love Michael W Smith's work, but to me he shines brightest with his instrumental work. Freedom was an awesome album, and Glory is a fantastic followup to it. I agree with other reviewers who say "Tribute/Agnus Dei" is the best track on here. I can almost envision being in heaven, standing before God, with that track playing. I love the spot where the music dramatically builds and just bursts forth...gives me chills every time! The rest of the album is very patriotic sounding; I can't remember which piece it is (I listen to "Tribute/Agnus Dei" so often I can't remember the other pieces as well!), but there is one with a gorgeous trumpet solo that is guaranteed to raise goosebumps on your arms. This album is well worth a listen!
