The Message Bible is wonderful paraphrase that helps people start out in the language they understand, and then advancing to a more accurate Bible like a New King James, NIV, or NASB. Reading The Word of our Wonderful Lord is the most important thing a person can do in this life, so he can learn of the wonderful salvation, that Jesus has made available to us by shedding His Blood on the cross. I highly recommend The Message to read, along with a good study bible for better understanding of the WORD.

He was shocked and amazed at how this translation is so easy to understand, We cross reference with an NRSV and the stories make so much more sense to him now. The book itself is beautiful, the colors are enticing and it just begs to be picked up. The price was really reasonable. Highly recommend.
