Author Bio

Larry Dane Brimner is the author of many books for children, including Max and Felix, illustrated by Les Gray (BMP, 1993), and Elliot Fry's Good-bye, illustrated by Eugenie Fernandes (BMP, 1993). He has a home in southwestern Colorado.

Dominic Catalano is the illustrator of the thirty-fifth anniversary edition of The Reason for the Pelican by John Ciardi (BMP, 1994), and The Bear Who Loved Puccini by Arnold Sundgaard (Philomel, 1992). He lives in Oswego, New York.
