Memory Verses to Live By will help you learn God's word and hide it in your heart so that you might not sin against Him (Psalm 119:11). It will also serve as a tool to help you fight off Satan; Jesus used scripture to fight off Satan, "And it is written..." DEBORAH CALLAHAN is a member of West Angeles Church of God in Christ (COGIC), where Bishop Charles E. Blake is Pastor. Deborah serves as a teacher /facilitator of Christian Sisters Fellowship at West Angeles COGIC. She is also an active member of One Faith Fellowship, under the leadership of Dr. Tonya D. Lewis, where she also serves on the Board of Directors. It is from her former cable show, Christian Sisters Fellowship, that Deborah was inspired to write, Memory Verses to Live By. This is the second book published by Deborah with the same title, Memory Verses to Live By, the difference being that the first book was a study guide of the New Testament and this book is a study guide of the Old Testament. Deborah, a former teacher and high school principal in the Los Angeles Unified School District, believes that arming believers with Verses/Scriptures will make them part of the most effective fighting force against Satan and that "a Verse a day will keep the devil away."
