It was not user-friendly regarding current expectations of computer use. When we upgraded our computers, we had to upgrade to MP 12 because the old one wouldn't work with the new computer. I looked forward to the upgrade and expected it to be much advanced, but we've found multiple bugs, and it is still not very user-friendly. My computer-programmer husband has to "translate" a lot of it for me, and there's a lot that just doesn't make sense (even for his computer-programmer brain!). We have not used the finance side yet, so maybe that's where they poured all of the upgrades, but for the member tracking and report-generating, it has problems. I can't save sorts with a report. If I've opened multiple tabs, the whole program locks up completely. I have also found that ACS Technologies search capabilities on their website are not very useful or helpful. I sometimes wonder if they want it to be difficult to find the answers so you to have to pay for service calls. I am not familiar with any alternative programs with similar capabilities, though.
