Wendy Pope has the gift of knowledge and the ability to relay that knowledge in such a unique and easy to understand fashion. I have had the blessed honor to participate in the launch group for this new book: Yes, No, & Maybe: Living With The God of Immeasurably More and I highly recommend it. From the very beginning of the book, I was able to connect with her. She writes with such passion and transparency of her love for the Lord. I admire how she is able to reflect on Scripture with truth and real examples from her life as she leads us through the story of the life of Paul. As such, I am extremely excited to use the words written in the book to live immeasurable more with God!!! And I believe you can, too!

Wendy is a word nerd. A woman who looks deeply behind the meaning of words, especially words in the Bible. But I can tell you, in reading Wendy's new book there are many words that stood out to me. The first which caught my attention were Six words Wendy's husband said. These words started Wendy on a different journey. You will have to read the book to find out what they were, but I can tell you his words resonated with me.

Besides those six words, this is what kept me reading her book. She writes "Asking ourselves Is this as good as it gets? digs deeper into the source of our troubled heart. This question doesn't mean we are ungrateful for Jesus's sacrificial death, but implies our determination to get to the root of our discontent. It's not just about where we live, what kind of car we drive, or how much money we have in the bank. Our numbness is the result of "un" roots growing in our heart, choking the life out of joy. We succumb to the power of every unmet expectation, unfulfilled dream, unanswered prayer, and unwanted situation." I wanted to know more about these "un" words and how those other six spoken words, get to the root of our discontent. I wanted to find more of the Yes, and the No and the Maybe in my relationship with God. And through reading this book I did.
