first i want to say this is a FICTIONAL movie ; so it has a fictional story. it has a lovely story about the town of gladbury at christmas and a candle maker. it is a story to redirect a person back to finding ones own faith and healing. it is a lovely movie done with the back drop of an old english town .

i think max lucado did good giving us a fictional story at christmas. well written and lovely singing by susan boyle.

I enjoyed it even though it doesn't follow the book as well as it could. Max Lucado is an excellent author.

I watched this movie with friends, including our Assistant Pastor. We all enjoyed it very much. It is a good story in a setting long ago in England. Although the candle is the center of attention at first, it becomes clear through the story that there is no power in the candle, nor anything special about it. It is simply a Christmas tradition in the town. The people come to realize that the true power is in the Lord through their faith and prayers. The music is a blessing. The acting is very good.
