This is a severely abridged version of Matthew Henry's original commentary. Much of what has been edited out is Henry's actual commentary - his spiritual insights and practical applications - leaving behind mostly verse summaries, which are far less helpful for in-depth Bible study. I cannot recommend this volume.

Matthew Henry is a very good source of info. Sometimes a little dry, but to the point which it should be. I read in mine quite often.
