Cheryl5 Stars Out Of 5November 21, 2008CherylThis is a GREAT study! We're doing it with our girls' small group, and it has spawned some awesome discussion. The truths are so simple -- but they're truths and they blow you away when you think about them in the context of your own life!

Tell us a little about yourself. I'm just another person, but one that God has for His own purposes chosen to redeem. He's given me a family that I love more and more every day (my husband Alan & our two little men) and opportunities to serve Him both as an author and as a teacher.
What was your motivation behind this project? The Lord kept bringing me back to PSALM 104 during a particularly challenging time. As I would be talking with friends, I started to see how the same truths I was learning about Our Great GOD could be an encouragement to others.
What do you hope folks will gain from this project? A greater awe of Our Great GOD, that No Matter What happens in our lives, the answer is to respond right and seek after HIM.
How were you personally impacted by working on this project? I learned so much about Our Great GOD throughout this project, the richness of His wisdom in the Psalms and the joy of a growing relationship with Him. The same week as the book was finally going into print, we lost our little girl to trisomy 18. Kali Grace, our little rosebud, taught us the true depths of rejoicing no matter what. And I can honestly say that I am thankful for her and for how God used her and will continue to receive praise from her both now and forever by His grace.
Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists? Inspiration for me primarily comes from my personal relationships, first with God but also with my family and loved ones. I'm not interested in writing for the sake of being published, but I'm very pleased to be able to write to meet a need in another believer/seeker's heart.
Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know: On the publisher's website there are answer keys to help with any questions you may struggle with. This is true for "The Girl in the Mirror," as well. bjup.com
