Jamie5 Stars Out Of 5Great Math Series!March 18, 2013JamieQuality: 4Value: 4Meets Expectations: 5We have really enjoyed this math series! It can be used as a supplement or as a stand alone curriculum. It is cyclical, so it does repeat skills throughout the book but it doesn't dwell on any one concept for too long so the student doesn't mind revisiting each skill. I like the way critical thinking skills are woven into the instruction of basic math concepts. This is not a hand-holding curriculum, however. If your child does not enjoy math, or needs a lot of explanation and repetition to master a skill this is likely not the program for you (as a core curriculum). My son is finishing Grade 4 and we plan to use these books through grade 6. The only minor improvements I would suggest would be perforated pages for ease of student use and a separate answer key instead of including answers in the back of the text (I just tear out those pages but it would be nice to have the answers in my own book.)

Harwoodc5 Stars Out Of 5Great program!December 19, 2019HarwoodcQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I took a chance and ordered this book for my son's grade 3 math curriculum. We had tried Math U See the year before and it was a fight every day. I think he was just bored. I really love this program! The pages are colorful and easy to follow. They do something different almost every day. I can just tear out the pages that he needs. It uses math and applies it to different practical situations, some days he doesn't even realize that he's doing math! I will be using it again next year and for my other children as well.

Rachael5 Stars Out Of 5Great Math CurriculumApril 9, 2018RachaelQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5Math can be very overwhelming depending on how it is taught. We used a different math curriculum before this and it frustrated my child. This teaches math in a fun way and also uses critical thinking skills. I'm very grateful for this math series.
