Math-U-See Zeta DVD

Math-U-See is a comprehensive, skill-based math curriculum for grades K–12 that follows a multi-sensory, mastery approach. With a clear, logical sequence, it helps students understand math concepts. Each lesson includes step-by-step instruction, video teaching (DVD or online videos), and hands-on manipulatives to reinforce learning. Parents present new concepts and guide students through the “build-write-say” strategy for practice and review. The Math-U-See Zeta DVD features 30 video lessons that cover decimals and percents by extending the student's concept of place value to the right of the decimal point. The connection between fractions and decimals is also presented and metric conversions are introduced. In the video lessons, Math U See creator Steve Demme helps parents understand how to teach each concept by using a whiteboard and larger magnetic versions of the blocks to show how to use them for each lesson. Also included is lifetime access to the Zeta Digital Toolbox worksheet generator and virtual manipulatives. One DVD.
