Math-U-See Fraction Overlay Kit

Math-U-See is a comprehensive, skill-based math curriculum for grades K–12 that follows a multi-sensory, mastery approach. With a clear, logical sequence, it helps students understand math concepts. Each lesson includes step-by-step instruction, video teaching (DVD or online videos), and manipulatives to reinforce learning. The Fraction Overlays are used in Math-U-See Epsilon and consist of colored pieces that correspond to Manipulative Blocks. Thirty-nine total pieces represent halves through sixteenths. There are vinyl pieces that represent the numerator (5 green, 2 orange, 3 pink, 4 yellow, 5 blue, and 6 purple). The clear lined overlays portray the denominator (two each of halves, thirds, fourths, fifths, sixths, and tenths and one each of eighths and sixteenths). Three reference cards and 1 wipe-off marker are also included; all items come in a cardboard packet. Used in Math-U-See Epsilon.
