Math Mammoth Grade 8-B Worktext

Math Mammoth Light Blue Series, developed by an experienced math teacher/homeschool mom, will appeal to independent learners and their busy parents, with consumable, full-color Worktexts that provide all the teaching instructions, explanatory diagrams, practice problems, and mental math challenges. Also in the “Pro” column is Math Mammoth’s mastery-based emphasis on teaching number sense and conceptual understanding – not just memorizing math procedures. Chapters concentrate on a specific concept, teaching the relevant skills step by step through a block of lessons, before moving on. Parent teaching materials, such as concept overviews and third-party links to online games and worksheets, are included at the beginning of each chapter. Students complete Light Blue Series Worktext B after the sold-separately Worktext A for a full year of math instruction. The Tests & Cumulative Review book and an Answer Key are also sold separately. 216 pages, softcover. Grade 8.
