Based on the award-winning TV show "The Way of the Master," the book's first part helps 3- to 5-year-olds understand God's love for them. The second part, for 6- to 10-year-olds, explains how we can know that God is real, who made God, why the Bible is true, how we know that people didn't come from apes, and why bad things happen. It also teaches kids how to memorize the Ten Commandments and helps them understand why they need Jesus, enabling them to reach their friends for Christ.

We use both This book and a family devotional. The kids love the pictures and the things the book brings up like prophecies that have come to pass etc. It is well worth the money. The humor is perfect as well and yet not too much. It's just what the kids need to be drawn to God's Word and the study of it. We want them to boldly share their faith, and this will definately help.

The way it is written is geared to very young children, so young that I think the message would be lost to them.
LisaAustraliaGender: female5 Stars Out Of 5December 31, 2009LisaAustraliaGender: femaleA worthwhile investment. The layout of the book (split in to two parts for children under & over 6) is a great idea too. I've read it a few times with my 4 & 6 year old and they ask for more. It's even helpful as an adult to use the information to answer tricky question I've been asked too.
