Is it okay to want to be married? Is there anything a woman who has never been married can do to make marriage more likely? Candice Watters gives women permission to want Christian marriage, encourages them to believe it's possible, and supplies the tools to get there despite our post-marriage culture. Get Married includes the author's personal journey from singleness to marriage as well as a biblical perspective on marriage. It shows how living intentionally is the key to marrying well. Get Married is a fresh and hopeful perspective that empowers single women to pray not only for their friends, parents, and churches, but the men who are (or could be) part of their lives.

Hannah Sutherland4 Stars Out Of 5November 25, 2009Hannah SutherlandVI have really enjoyed reading this book. It has been insightful and challenging. It has challenged the way I have thought about the responsibilities of women in relationship to men. She had a Biblical foundation to what she wrote. She was forthright in the way she wrote. I highly suggest you read this book for yourself.
Mrs Len Smith4 Stars Out Of 5November 10, 2009Mrs Len SmithThis book was quite informative regarding what is happening in our culture today and just why so many choose singleness over marriage. The author gets to the solution and offers many suggestions for a woman who desires marriage believing this is God's will for her.
Grace4 Stars Out Of 5November 2, 2009GraceThis book confronted many things that I could not admit aloud, including the fact that I DO want to get married. The author brought back to the forefront the importance of having friends from different age groups, and even parental involvement in helping toward the goal of marrying well. I realized how brainwashed I have been by our society for women to isolate themselves from those that do not belong to our generation: Just act like we don't need a man and the only thing that is important is our career. This book addresses the thought that things would just come together and one could just be passive about their future mate. This was a refreshing Biblical point of view on how single women should view marriage and what role they play, as well as, their families and close friends.
