I wish I had the book in front of me to give a detailed review but my grandchildren have it or them. I bought two actually. It was detailed and brightly colored with many stories about Jesus. It was written and illustrated in a way to draw preteens and teens in. I wanted my grandchildren to know we have a hope! They are unchurched and I knew they wouldnt pick a bible up. My teenager actually said that it was cool!

I ordered this (and the second book) for our 16-year-old grandson, who loves to draw and loves Manga. His mother told us he was really impressed--that's a great reaction for a 16-year-old!

Manga Messiah was good but scary and weird. First of all it made the demonful people look like zombies and second is that Manga books are usaully un godly.
