Born and raised in Mexico, Ernesto Vega, MA, lives in Los Angeles, CA. He has studied psychotherapy, pastoral theology, and Ignatian spirituality at Loyola Marymount University. He is passionate about learning the Toltec ancient wisdom, inner healing, and the symbolism of the image and apparitions of Our Lady of Guadalupe.

Jeanette Gonzalez Seneviratne was born into a Mexican-American family deeply rooted in the Catholic faith with a strong devotion to Our Lady of Guadalupe. She is a wife, mother, diocesan leader, and now a author with a mission to share the power of faith with children & families through this story.

I am happy to see that Las Mañanitas: The Beautiful Celebration of Our Lady of Guadalupe is bilingual so that there is opportunity for families to read either in English, Spanish, or each language simultaneously. Additionally helpful is that Dana Sanmar's illustrations are so welcoming and child-friendly, simple yet vibrant and radiant of the splendor that our Blessed Mother bestows on us. I would highly recommend this text particularly to have available every Advent season emphasizing that Our Lady's legacy in the Americas remains strong and alive.
