Rodney Mcmillian4 Stars Out Of 5August 20, 2010Rodney McmillianThis book is the most inciteful book on the issues facing Men in today's world that I have ever read. The author does a masterful job at using real life examples to make biblical points. A must read.
SRB4 Stars Out Of 5April 3, 2010SRBA bit dated, but the concepts are still quite useful for getting men to think and talk about their lives. However, be aware that the book is HEAVILY skewed toward the issues of husbands and fathers, to the point where single men may find much of the book irrelevant and unhelpful.
Philip Lawrence4 Stars Out Of 5January 2, 2008Philip LawrenceThis is a good book for men who have not made knowing and growing in Christ the #1 priority of their lives and for new Christian men. It is not too deep but touches on the important issues that men deal with that ultimately prevent them from being Godly men, husbands, fathers, and friends. It discusses the areas of life that men give themselves to resulting in broken relationships with their wives, kids and God. A great book to get men's attention about what life's real priorities are and get men started on the right road. It is a bit too much like a business text book with charts and figures that men who have not been through this type of education may not relate too, but overall this is a good book to get guy's attention on what being a godly man is.
John B5 Stars Out Of 5June 2, 2003John BDon't buy a copy of this book -- buy at least two copies. The book itself suggests giving it away when you finish reading it, but you'll want to keep one for yourself. No purpose to your life? Lack of direction? Everything seems pointless? This book can help you understand what's wrong, why, and how to fix it.
