In The Making of Sages, Donn Morgan mines the biblical wisdom tradition to find ways in which that tradition can transform the way we live. He explores the role of biblical sages such as Solomon, and then looks at "leadership and wisdom in a time of chaos," asking where we can find such people today. Morgan maintains that the religious community has the tools-the biblical tradition-to foster new methods and models for "teaching the wisdom of Israel in a new land."
