Linda5 Stars Out Of 5Loved it!!January 19, 2017LindaQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5This was a delightful read and it answered many questions in my mind about who this lovely couple from HGTV's "Fixer Upper" really is behind the scenes. It was wonderful to see how God was, and is, working in their lives. They are a shining example of where faith, love, and hard work can take you. An inspirational and motivational read!
Jon5 Stars Out Of 5God FirstJanuary 16, 2017JonQuality: 0Value: 0Meets Expectations: 0Shows what can happen when you learn to follow those nudges, as the Spirit prompts. Shows, also, that marriage is more than two people sharing with each other. First commitment needs to be to God. Second commitment is to each other. Then comes children, family, friends.... The stable commitment to God and each other allows us to help others. A great book for couples and singles. When you get the order of commitment right, the rest will fall into place.
Chris5 Stars Out Of 5So GreatJanuary 10, 2017ChrisQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I have become a fan of the show Fixer Upper. It is so enjoyable to watch a husband and wife work together and get along so well. So when they wrote a book and opened up their lives to us even more by sharing their ups and downs in their lives so far and how God brought them through it. Amazing! I really enjoyed that they are just real in the book they didn't hide things. Highly recommend this book.
JoeDial5 Stars Out Of 5Heartwarming StoryJanuary 3, 2017JoeDialQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5On TV, Chip and Joanna Gaines look like a loving and devoted couple. This book explains and confirms that image. They communicate in an easy to follow and understated fashion that mimics the people "as seen on TV". I really enjoyed the distinctive fonts used to make clear who was speaking. I Like this book and these people. Hopefully, you will too.
