Product Description

The experience of birth stays with a woman forever. Each birth leaves an imprint on a woman's body, mind, heart, and soul. She is changed. We are complete persons, so what affects one aspect of our person affects everything else, physically, emotionally, spiritually, and mentally. We have the opportunity to choose to invite the One who planned it all in the first place to saturate every part with grace before, during, and after birth.

Join author Mary Haseltine as she guides expectant moms through birth (and pregnancy) in Made  for This: The Catholic Mom's Guide to Birth. Drawing on the teachings of Theology of the Body as well as other Church writings, you will see that birth  is beautifully symbolic and deeply theological.

Divided into four parts, from understanding birth  and preparing for birth to the actual birth experience and personal stories from real Catholic moms, you  will see why birth is so important to a woman and how she can integrate her Catholic Faith intimately with her birth experience, making it a holy and grace-filled experience, unique to her.

God in his goodness gives expectant moms an abundance of ways to prepare their souls to enter into birth. The most important thing is for a mother to open her heart and soul to where and how God may be calling her to deepen her relationship with him during pregnancy.
