Tell us a little about yourself. For more than 15 years, Ive mobilized people to pray. Im the author of Made to Pray: Imagine a Better Time with God, and its companion prayer assessment. A former company chaplain and house church pastor, Im the vice president of marketing for EnergyCAP, Inc.
I blog on prayer, power, and the presence of God.
I live with my family in central Pennsylvania. Ive appeared in Charisma Magazine, Extant Magazine, the Christian Post, and the Centre Daily Times, and serve on the National Committee of Mission America Coalition.
What was your motivation behind this project? I used to really struggle with prayer.
But then I found my best prayer types. And when I did, prayer became a whole lot better.
Made to Pray is a journey to find the prayer life you always wanted. If you struggle with prayer or want to help someone grow in prayer, Made To Pray might be just what you need.
What do you hope folks will gain from this project? I hope readers find their best prayer types so they can have a better time with God. Also use the book to draw closer to their community by studying prayer together.
How were you personally impacted by working on this project? I discovered a side of God who passionately wants to hear from each one of us in our own voice--something that only each of us can give Him--ourselves.
