I was provided a copy of this book, to review, through BookSneezeÃÂ®.
The author, Roger Troy Wilson, lost 230 pounds and has kept it off for years. In his book, he tells you how he came to write this book and sharing the plan that was revealed to him by God.
In his book, Roger explains the plan and then gives pointers on eating at fast food restaurants, stocking your shelves, making wise choices at salad bars and parties, conquering cravings and even gives you a 14 day meal guide and a section of recipes to get you started.
I felt that he explained the program so that anyone could follow it. Although I, personally, would miss some of the things he suggests that you go without to lose the weight, I would be eating healthier than I am now. It certainly does make sense to eat this way for a healthier body! It just may be the eating program that I could incorporate into my lifestyle. No more calculating points, weighing my food and and journaling, you have to love that.

His program has been successful for him and others. Roger himself has kept his excess adiposity at bay for over fifteen years.
Wilson's premise is one that will grab the attention of those who have struggled with their weight and are looking for something permanent and perhaps more enjoyable than some of the more restrictive programs that are available today. His sub-title is "Eating all the Calories and Carbs you want to lose weight!"
Certainly a book of this size cannot address fully your personal battle with excess adipose tissue. Wilson is careful to advise medical counsel before considering any attempt at a weight loss program.
The book outlines a plan. It deals with questions that may arise as well as addressing challenges along the way. Also included are shopping lists and a fourteen day meal guide which will show the reader what is involved. The book concludes with a collection of recipes.
At the very least, the writing is instructive and you will learn about one man's journey.

But, to my complete surprise, my blood sugar stabilized and I am able to eat all the fresh fruits I want. You should see your doctor for approval first, because your body may not be the same as mine. Also, I love eating until full whenever I am hungry, and I love never getting sick of the foods and recipes I am eating! I can do this for the rest of my life!

You eat until full at all meals, and you eat all the lean red meat you want, as well as all the unprocessed starchy carbs you want, as well as all the unprocessed sweet carbs you want (fresh fruits and fruit smoothies), and all the soups, salads and veggies you want. Further, you don't have to eat anything you don't want or don't like, and if you're a vegetarian you just leave out the foods that are not for you. The foods and simple recipes are harder to digest and therefore stabilize your blood sugar -- forcing you to start eating less.
