The little dog was nice enough, soft and fluffy and cute, but I should have read the reviews first, as others voiced the same disappointment as I felt I wanted a puppy who sang "Jesus loves me", so my little grandson would hear those words as he drifted off to sleep hugging his "puppy", instead it only played a very rapid tune of the song that was over in a matter of seconds, and it isn't even that easy to turn it on as one has to hunt for the button to push, which is inside the dog. So I was somewhat disappointed.

I bought this as a Christmas present for a toddler. It is a good brand, but I was a little disappointed in the quality of the dog. The fur was coming off, and the ribbon had fur on it. Seems my stuffed dog was shedding! I had to pick off the fur where it had gotten on the ribbon, and to gather up the loose fur that was shedding. Usually Gund makes very good products, but I think this one slipped through quality control. Outside of that, the music is clear, and the dog is perfect for little hands.

Very disappointed in the appearance and sound. Does not look anything like the catalog picture - just a ragged mop. Can hardly find the eyes. The Jesus Loves Me song is squeeky, high pitched and way too fast. Not at all what I pictured. Can't possibly sing with it to your child. Also, very difficult to find the button to push for the song.
