The commentary is very concise and very thorough. It is easy to understand and is ever applicable. I highly recommend this product to anyone seeking a down to earth understanding of the Scriptures.

My wife and I recently used this text to supplement our study of Luke. Neither of us are biblical scholars so it was really nice to have so much context and real-world application available to us as we worked through Luke. It was a little like having a pastor there to guide us. I will definitely get more to compliment future studies.

These commentarries read so easily they are a pleasure to use. Giving enough technical detaila and background to be useful then moving on to relevant application. Will be buying more!

I think the book meets the goal of it's title "Application Commentary". I don't wish to take anything away from the book but I personally prefer more exegis of the scripture in a commentary of this type.
